Delete some of your data
You can delete individual items and data in Skilfo yourself, without deleting your account. Each step works in the Skilfo app and on skilfo.com unless it says otherwise. Skilfo is operated by Orbisight Labs LLP.

What you can delete yourself
A single item in your child’s portfolio
Open the item (certificate, photo, video or achievement). In the app tap ⋯ and choose Delete; on the website choose Delete on the item’s page. Confirm.
What is removed: The item and the photos, videos and files you uploaded with it, from our storage too. Its share link stops working.
Your chat with the AI counsellor
Open your child’s AI Career Counsellor and go to Chat (in the app), or Ask AI (on the website). Choose Clear chat under the conversation and confirm.
What is removed: Every message in your conversation about that child. Saved reports and sessions are not affected.
Your child’s profile photo
Open your child’s profile, choose Edit profile, then Remove photo, and save.
What is removed: The photo from your child’s profile.
Your second phone number
Open Profile, find your second number and choose Remove.
What is removed: The second number from your account. It can no longer be used to sign in.
A signed-in phone or computer
Open Active sessions (Settings in the app, the side menu on the website) and revoke the device, or revoke all others.
What is removed: That device’s sign-in. It is signed out straight away.
A link you shared
On the website open Share, find the link and choose Delete link.
What is removed: The link. Anyone who opens it afterwards sees that it no longer works.
Your child’s place at an academy
Open the academy from My Academies and choose Leave academy.
What is removed: Your child from that academy’s batches. Items already in your child’s portfolio stay with you (see below for what the academy keeps).
What an academy keeps
Attendance, fee and payment records, and the results and certificates an academy issued, are the academy’s own records. Deleting your copy of a certificate removes it from your child’s portfolio, but the academy’s record of issuing it stays, and fee records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. Files an academy sent you (for example a class video you added to the portfolio) stay with the academy.
Anything else
To delete something not listed here, email hello@skilfo.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Data deletion request”, and tell us what you would like removed. We confirm it is you, then reply within 7 days.
